still可以用作副詞

still用作副詞時，意思是“還，仍舊，尚”。對想象中應該結束的動作或狀態還在繼續表示“驚訝”； 或是強調始於過去的動作或狀態仍在繼續，且含有“到目前爲止”的意思，所以多用於一般現在時態和現在進行時態。still用在肯定句中，須放在助動詞、情態動詞後面，行爲動詞之前； still用在否定句中，須放在助動詞和情態動詞之前，當助動詞是be時，把still放在助動詞前面或後面都可以，有時還可放在直接賓語之後。still可修飾比較級，作“還要，更”解。

一、形容詞still作“靜”、“寂靜的”、“靜止的”講

二、“副詞still+比較級”表示“還要或更……”之意
