good morning !

my great pleasure to share my dream with you today. my dream is to become a teacher…

as the whole world has its boundaries, limits and freedom coexist in our life. i don't expect complete freedom, which is impossible. i simply have a dream that supports my life.

i dream that one day, i could escape from the deep sea of thick schoolbooks and lead my own life. with my favorite fictions, i lie freely on the green grass, smelling the spring, listening to the wind singing, breathing the fresh and cool air and dissolve my soul in nature at last. simple and short enjoyment can bring me great satisfaction.

i dream that one day the adults could throw their prejudice of comic and cartoon away. they could keep a lovely heart that can share sorrow and happiness with us while watching cartoon or doing personal things. that's the real communication of heart to heart.

i have the belief that my dreams should come true. i am looking forward to some day coming when i am like a proud eagle, which flies to the blue and vast sky.

good morning/afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. it is my honor to stand here and give my speech to you. my name is wuchengwen. i am fourteen years old and come from dalian no.34 middle school. as one of the members who were born in the 1990s, i share several hobbies with those of the same age. although i am a little fat, i like sports very much, such as skiing, swimming and so on. i like skiing because it is really exciting. when you slide from the high to the low, you will get a larger speed than running or cycling. everything round you is left behind fast, you can feel the flying snow on your face, and you will find yourself nearly out of breath. the noisy sound of wind reminds you of your fast speed, which even convinces you that you are in the competition with time. it is just amazing!

besides skiing, i am also interested in swimming. jumping into the water, the water will make you feel cool and comfortable. especially when swimming in the sea, you can not see the end of the sea, you can never swim to the other end, but this will keep you trying and trying to challenge yourself, challenge your life. what is in your mind now is just to swim and swim. all your trouble is forgotten and the stress can also be released.

英語口語競賽方案

一、競賽目的：

爲了進一步推進我校英語教學的發展，調動學生學習英語的積極性，提高學生“聽”、“說”的技能，全面展示我校學生英語口語的表達能力，提高全體學生的學習興趣及綜合運用能力，培養學生良好的聽說習慣，給學生提供鍛鍊自我、展示自我的舞臺。特向學校領導班子申請舉行一次學生英語口語比賽。

二、參加對象：

七至八年級學生（每班限2人）。

三、時間比賽：2014年6月6日。

四、比賽地點：多媒體教室

五、比賽形式

1、朗讀短文。

2、回答對方問題。

3、看圖說話。

（現場抽題，屏幕給出演講題目及相關的文本信息，選手須根據給定題目及相關信息完成演講。）

準備時間：40秒

演講時間：90秒

六、評委組成

1、每年級取前六名，分獲一二三等獎。（七年級一等獎1人、二等獎2人、三等獎3人， 八年級一等獎1人、二等獎2人、三等獎3人。）

2、給獲獎學生的輔導教師頒發“優秀輔導教師”稱號的榮譽證書。

英語口語競賽活動總結

爲了提高學生的英語口語表達能力，展示學生的良好素質，提高學生學習英語的積極性，我校於2014年6月6日下午，開展了學生英語口語比賽。

接到通知後，各個班級積極準備、踊躍報名。經過認真篩選後，共26名學生參加了此次比賽。在比賽中，選手們發揮出色，表情生動，動作合理。比賽的過程是緊張並快樂着的。本次比賽爲學生學習英語、交流口語創設了良好氛圍，不僅考查了學生們的英語口語表達水平，提高了學生們學習英語的積極性，而且很好的促進了我校英語教學水平的提高！

比賽結束後，每位英語教師對自己平時的課堂教學也有了更多的反思。英語教學應更多注重學生的興趣培養，課堂上適當滲透文化知識，如中西方節日的對比、生活習慣的對比、社會現狀對比等等，使學生在學習該語言的同時，也對該語言國家有簡單的瞭解。此外，在課堂上也讓學生充分發揮自己的才能，添加歌唱、舞蹈、表演、競賽等活動，讓學生在學習語言的過程，又能在各項才藝展示中獲得自信、激發興趣。

希望本次活動能夠讓我們英語教師和每個學生留下美好的回憶，喊響我校學習英語的口號，“ｉbelieve i can.”
