attend的用法1：attend的本意是指心裏經常性地想着〔做〕某事，現代英語中主要用於表示“參加(會議、集會、典禮、婚禮、追悼會等)”,有時也指上學、聽課、聽報告等。它強調的是動作，即聽或看，爲正式書面用語。

attend的用法2：attend作“專心，注意”解時，多指對書本、圖表、課業、命令、事物、事件等的注意。其後常接to。
