假如沒有來世北京外國語大學北戴河外語培訓基地校長宋遠利

有沒有來世，衆說紛紜。無神論者，不相信來世。他們認爲從生到死，僅此而已。他們可能在意身後的英名，他們可能留戀後代的親情，但他們不寄希望於來世。他們也會說善有善報，惡有惡報，但並不相信下輩子報應什麼。

在宗教領域、或在一些迷信的人羣，來世之說比較盛行。不僅是來世，甚至會認爲有千百次的輪迴。在那未知而飄渺的世界，有天堂，有地獄，有神族，有仙界，有菩薩、有佛祖。

也許真的相信、也許是爲了利用人們的敬畏心裏，古代的帝王們總是宣稱自己是真龍天子，大臣們則標榜爲天上的什麼文曲星、武曲星或太白金星轉世。星星能轉世嗎？

許多人燒香、磕頭，行善、修德，並不都是爲了眼前，而是爲了讓上天看見自己的真誠，以便下輩子有個好的託生，或者幾世之後能修成正果。這些人自然是相信來世的。但我不禁要問：如果沒有來世，你們會不會一樣行善、修德呢？如果神靈看不見，你們是否也會公正無私呢？如果不是爲了解脫他人和服務大衆纔去修行，如果僅僅是爲了自己將來託生好纔去行善，是否有些自私呢？比較起來，那些不相信來世而又堅持行善的人，則應該是最真、最誠的大善。因爲他們不是爲自身，而是爲公理。

也許有人會問作者，你相信來世嗎？我的回答是：我不知道前生，因而也不敢妄談後世。但我真的希望能有來世！因爲這輩子時間太短，許多事情都是在還沒弄明白的時候，就已經匆匆過去了。我有那麼多的理想，我有那麼多的心願，我有那麼多的奢望，我有那麼多的遺憾，我有那麼多的牽掛，我有那麼多的雄心壯志，如果沒有來世，那就一切皆空了。

我不甘心眼前的碌碌無爲，我留戀被歲月沖走的本應屬於我的親情，更向往從頭再來的完美和成熟。爲此，信也好，不信也好，我寧願有來世。

淺談大學生活

大家早上好！很榮幸站在這裏與大家分享大學生活。“人生就像餃子，歲月是皮，經歷是餡。酸甜苦辣皆爲滋味，毅力和信心正是餃子皮上的褶皺，人生中難免被狠狠擠一下，被開水煮一下，被人咬一下，倘若沒有經歷，硬裝成熟，總會有露餡的時候。”這一段話，不是我的原創，是崔永元評論人生的一段話。

有人說：大學一年級往往“不知道自己不知道”，大學二年級就進了一步“知道自己不知道”，大學三年級時“不知道自己知道”，大學四年級“知道自己知道”。大學生活總是那麼的多姿多彩的，但也需要我們去把握和深入體會。有人說：平凡的大學生有着相同的平凡，而不平凡的大學卻有着各自的輝煌。但是你可以選擇平凡，不可以選擇平庸；相信誰都想不平凡。那麼，怎樣才能使自己的大學生活充實有意義，怎樣主宰自己的大學生活呢？我隨便談談個人的幾點觀點。

首先，要確立目標和計劃，古人云“志當存高遠”，毛澤東也說“風物長宜放眼量”。沒有目標便沒有前進的努力方向，也毫無動力可言。計劃目標，又可分爲近期和遠期。如近期我要看完多少本書，這一個月我要學懂什麼知識，假期有什麼實踐報告打算等等。遠期的如：爭取畢業前拿到自考文憑，人際關係應該多大，實踐能力應達到怎樣的程度等。而且，目標的實現又是一個個小目標實現的連貫過程。如一天記5個單詞，到考前便可記到很多。但是,這需要堅持和毅力。

第二，要放遠眼光，是指不被暫時的情緒和心情所拖所沉溺，要成就大事業，就必須大事抓緊，小事放鬆。如，不要被上網玩遊戲等所帶來的滿足感所一直沉溺，孰不知，暫時滿足的背後的更大的空虛。相信大家都有這種體會。

第三，是樹立就業危機感，我們總是在怪自己的控能力不強，沒有上進的動力。誰不知是自己的意識上沒有清醒？有人會說：“愛情是學習的動力”或“家境貧

窮的學習的動力”等等。其實，從直接意義上來說，就業危機感纔是也應該是我們上進的動力。我自己常想自己畢業以後究竟能幹什麼？又多從報紙雜誌上看到目前就業形勢的異常嚴峻，所以心裏很是害怕。有人說目前找工作：要麼有關係，要麼有文憑，要麼有才能（技能）。而我們呢？文憑，只是本科；關係，相信大部份同學都沒有什麼關係。所以，我們唯一的出路便是要有才能。而這，就要問問自己：你學到了什麼，你掌握了什麼？現在的問題不是我們不知道學什麼，而是我們想不想學。

第四，是要理論知識與實踐能力相結合，大學是一個鍛鍊自己能力的舞臺。以前是重知識而輕能力，但現在恰好相反，由於社會上影響，文憑要求的適當下降，所以現在的很多大學生紛紛跑出外面找兼職。如果他們是在不影響學習的前提下去的，那沒話說，反而應該提倡。但他們有些不是，爲了一份端菜的服務生工作，不惜請假曠課，晚自習也不上。我身邊就有這樣的現象。現在，出現了這樣一種錯位思潮，就是在職的機關企業工作人員，紛紛利用業餘時間“充電”，而在校的大學生們卻紛紛跑到社會兼職，我覺的應該糾正這種思潮。

此外，就是要多看書和報紙雜誌，瞭解最新社會動態，知曉國家大事，瞭解第一時間的時政經濟新聞等。是的，這不僅對我們以後找工作有幫助，而且對我們的生活也有幫助。

好了，我今天的演講也到此爲止了。最後，送上一句話： “路漫漫其修遠兮，吾將上下而求索。”送給我自己，也與大家共勉！

if i were to live my life over again, i would pay more attention to the cultivation of the memory. i would strengthen that faculty by every possible means, and on every possible occasion. it takes a little hard work at first to remember things accurately; but memory soon helps itself, and gives very little trouble. it only needs early cultivation to become a power.

if i were a boy again, i would look on the cheerful side. life is very much like a mirror: if you smile upon it, i smile back upon you; but if you frown and look doubtful on it, you will get a similar look in return.

inner sunshine warms not only the heart of the owner, but of all that come in contact with it. “who shuts love out ,in turn shall be shut out from love.”

finally, instead of trying hard to be happy, as if that were the sole purpose of life, i would, if i were a boy again, i would still try harder to make others happy.

if we would ever accomplish anything in life, let us not forget that we must persevere. if we would learn our lessons in school, we must be diligent and not give up whenever we come to anything difficult. we shall find many of our lessons very hard, but let us consider that the harder they are the better they will do to us if we will persevere and learn them thoroughly.

but there are some among us who are ready to give up when they come to a hard example in mathematics, and say, "i can't do this." they never will if they feel so. "i can't" never does anything worthwhile; but "i'll try" accomplishes wonders.

let us remember that we shall meet with difficulties all through life. they are in the pathway of everyone. if we will only try and keep trying, we shall be sure to conquer and overcome every difficulty we meet with. if we have a hard lesson today, let us strive to learn it well and then we shall be prepared for a harder one tomorrow. and if we learn to master hard lessons in school, it will prepare us to overcome the hard things that we shall meet in life, when our school days are over.

dear friends, we all know that in winter, nearly all the trees stop growing and nearly all the flowers stop

sometimes we students compare one another with marks directly. we are completely controlled by marks. we like them and we feel sorry for them. but what attitude towards our marks should we take? truly, marks functions cannot be underestimated. in terms of test in our study, marks are fair and real. that is the reason why we say everyone is equal before marks. however, i think marks are the sole standard to judge the success or failure of students in exams. sometimes, marks more than ten or less than one or two in our exams comparing with others mean not everything. the success or failure in exams will be influenced by experience on the spot and the examinees health etc. once in a while one cannot fail in exams. success or failure is common sense for military. i think everyone is familiar with the famous saying. don’t you think such will be the case with our study? in exams, one cannot be never-defeated general . even though one will be very good in everyday study, he cannot succeed in every exam sometimes. we can get proof from the fact that the very best one we call number one scholar in the entrance exams for college and ordinary middle school and specialized secondary school over the years is not eminent above all others nor top student in every study. as a matter of fact, high marks and ability are not unified. some time ago, a new phrase high marks but poor competence came into being. once i happened to meet such a teacher as this is said that the teacher just graduated from a far-famed key university. but his teaching result is much less than that of the one who just graduated from a not-well-renowned college. when lecturing, the teacher only repeated what the text-books says, which was very dull so the his students interest in learning was not aroused. his teaching was short of unity of teaching and learning. at present there is a fact that we know a few brilliant and top college graduates are not qualified for their posts. the reason for it may be lack of the ability to combine knowledge learnt from books with pragmatics in their work. students of this kind will be successful in every exam but they will be able to use freely their knowledge in their posts. dont you think it waste training such persons for the country?

to sum up from the above, i can say marks are not absolutely authoritative for some. if we neglect training and developing the students ability and competence and if we only seek for the high marks, we will be absolutely wrong. we should take an objective attitude towards the marks. neither should we neglect them nor should we overvalue them like a god.

分數，考研究生、博士要分數，出國、評職稱還是要分數。家長要用分數來要求我們;社會用分數來衡量我們。而我們自己也常常用分數在相互直接做着攀比。我們完全爲分數所左右了，我們爲它歡喜，我們爲它喪氣。那麼，我們應該怎樣對待分數呢? 的確，分數有它不可低估的作用。從檢驗學習的角度上來說，它具有一定的公平性和真實性，“分數面前人人平等”，講的就是這個道理。然而，分數並不是估量一個學生成敗得失的惟一標準。考試成績偶爾低了一兩分乃至十來分，並不一定說明什麼問題。考試的成敗有時也會受到諸如臨場經驗、健康狀況等方面的影響。“勝敗乃是兵家常事”這句話大概不會有人不知道，而我們在學習上又何嘗不如此?在考試上很少有“常勝之師”，即使平時成績再好的同學，也難免會有偶爾的失誤。歷屆會考、大學聯考“狀元”並非就是平時出類拔萃的優等生的事實，便是明證。

事實上，“高分”與“能力”往往是不統一的。前段時間，社會上出現了一個新詞:“高分低能”。筆者就曾經碰見這樣一位教師，據說他畢業於某赫赫有名的重點大學，但從教學效果上講，卻遠遠遜色於一些非高等學府畢業的老師。其授課只是照本宣讀而已，枯燥乏味，缺乏一種教與學之間的協調功能。根本不能引起聽課同學的興趣，目前不少大中專院校的高材生畢業後不能勝任他們的工作，原因就在於缺少將書本中的知識運用到實際工作中去的能力。這種人，儘管在學校中每每能考出高分，可無法在工作崗位上靈活白如地運用自己所學到的知識。國家培養出這樣的“人材”，不也是一種浪費嗎?

由此可見，分數並不如有些人想象得那麼絕對和權威，忽視了對各方面才能的培養，只一味追求高分，是不行的。因此，我們應該客觀地去看待分數，既不應過分輕視它，也沒有必要把它看得過於神聖。 （孫麗榮老師 供稿）

you can hear your laughters of joy and happiness on the day when everything happens as you dream. you can see the smiles on the people around you when the magic moment strikes. you can feel your face is getting red, your heart is beating fast, and your blood is rushing all over your body, to every single corner of your being!

you know all this is real as long as you are confident, passionate and committed(忠誠的；堅決的)! and you are confident, you are passionate, you are committed!
