dear fellow frIends:

good mornIng. today Im goIng to share wIth you the most valuable thIng that I have learned at unIversIty.

I was born In 1977. but my lIfe dIdnt begIn In the real sense untIl 1999. prIor to that, I spent every hour, every day and every year doIng what was expected of me , eatIng, sleepIng, studyIng, playIng, so on and so forth. I dIdn't have the Idea of who I am, what I should do now and next or what lIfe means to me. never had I thought about these questIons. thIs sItuatIon lasted for year after year. It underwent few changes even after I entered the unIversIty. and It was another two years later that I began to thInk about these questIons, whIch are of great sIgnIfIcance to me, from then on, my lIfe turned over a new leaf, because Independent thInkIng, whIch dIdnt have any place In my lIfe, started to play an Important part.

fIrst, thInkIng helps me to know myself, such as my dream, Interest, strengths and weaknesses. as we all know, every one of us has hIs own character, although we are all human beIngs. It Is therefore vItal for us to develop a sense of IdentIty, form our own opInIons, make our own choIces and take responsIbIlIty for our own destInIes. we wont be the InItIator of our actIon or In charge of our lIfe, unless we thInk about our unIqueness and make our IndIvIdualIty clear. to my joy, Ive started to do that. now I set my own standards and regard them as my code of conduct rather than judge myself by how others estImate me or how much approval Im gettIng from other people. I wont lIve In the shadow of anyone else. I lIve my lIfe In my own way.

second, thInkIng stImulates me to treat lIfe and tIme serIously. mans dearest possessIon Is lIfe. It Is gIven to hIm but once. so how we spend our lIfe and tIme Is a questIon we are supposed to ask ourselves. Its a pIty that some people have never made an effort to seek the meanIng of lIfe. they lIve theIr own lIfe, but not In a meanIngful way. most of them seem dIsorIented, not knowIng what to do or how to make use of tIme. to be honest, I used to be troubled by the same problems. however, as I learned to thInk, I came to know the purpose of lIfe, whIch Is by no means food, drInk and merrymakIng. now Ive made up my mInd to be a dIlIgent, responsIble man. on the one hand, Im eager to gIve full play to my professIonal knowledge and lIve out my dream. on the other hand, Im tryIng my best to fulfIll my oblIgatIons to socIety as well as my famIly and frIends. In a word, I want to lIve a full, meanIngful lIfe. I hate to spend my tIme In vaIn. so Im workIng hard to challenge and Improve myself. It can be saId wIthout the fear of exaggeratIon that thInkIng has awakened my slumberIng soul, transformed me Into an enterprIsIng young man.

It Is therefore apparent that thInkIng Is playIng a very Important role In my lIfe. however, It can be paInful at tImes. although I spend much tIme thInkIng, I stIll cannot sort out some of the problems I encounter. consequently, I wIll get depressed. It seems that Im askIng for trouble. why not go and have some fun Instead of takIng paIns to thInk? the reason Is that Its rewards far outnumber those momentary dIspleasure. thInkIng Is the key to lIfe, the gateway to psychologIcal maturIty, and the beacon to the road ahead.

leanIng to thInk Is the mIlestone In my lIfe. It Is the most valuable thIng I learned at unIversIty. now It has become an IndIspensable part of my lIfe.

早上好!今天,我將與大家一起分享我在大學裏學到的最有價值的東西。

我是1977年出生的,但是,我真正意義上的人生卻是到1999(本站向您推薦:)年纔開始的。在那以前的每一時、每一天、每一年,我都是做着別人希望我做的事,吃飯、睡覺、學習、玩耍。我根本就不知道我是誰,不知道我現在該做什麼、將來要做什麼,也不知道生活對我意味着什麼。我也從來沒有想過這些問題。這種狀態持續了許多年,即使在我上大學之後,也沒有發生什麼變化。在大學裏呆了兩年之後,我纔開始獨立思考一些對我有重大意義的問題。從那時候起,我的人生翻開了嶄新的一頁,因爲過去不曾在我生活中佔有一席之地的獨立思考逐漸成爲我生活中的一件大事。

首先,獨立思考幫助我認識自己,比如說我的夢想、興趣、優點和缺點。我們都知道,雖然大家都是人,但我們中的每一個人都有自己的個性和特徵。因此,發展我們的個性、形成我們自己的觀點、做出我們自己的選擇以及對我們自己的人生負責就是一件至關重要的大事。如果不考慮自身的特點、不明確自己的個性,我們就不會是自己行動的發起者或自己命運的主人。令我感到欣慰的是,我已經開始這麼做了。現在,我有了自己的標準並以此作爲自己行爲的主要準則,而不是根據別人對我的評價來評價自己,或是根據我得到別人的多少認可來肯定自己。我不願意生活在任何人的陰影之下,我要按自己的方式來生活。

其次,獨立思考促使我認真地對待時間與生命。人的一生最寶貴的是生命,生命屬於人只有一次。那麼,如何度過我們這一生、如何分配我們的時間就值得我們去捫心自問。遺憾的是,有些人從來沒有試着去尋找生命的意義。他們一天天地活着,但活得並不是很有意義。他們似乎沒有目標,不知道該幹什麼或是怎樣利用時間。老實說,我曾經也被這些問題困擾過。但是,當我慢慢地學會獨立思考,我就逐漸認識到生活的目的。我認爲人活着決不是爲了吃喝玩樂。現在,我已下定決心做一個勤奮的、有責任心的人。一方面,我渴望發揮自己的才能,實現自己的夢想;另一方面,我又盡力去履行我對社會、親人和朋友的義務。總之,我想過一種充實的、有意義的生活。我不願意無所事事、浪費時間。所以,我現在很勤奮、很努力,不斷挑戰自己、提高自己。可以毫不誇張地說,獨立思考喚醒了我沉睡的心靈,使我成爲一個積極向上、不斷進取的年輕人。

很明顯,獨立思考在我的生活中發揮了重要作用,然而,它有時候也給我帶來了痛苦。雖然我花了很多時間去思考,但我還是不能把我遇到的一些問題想清楚。結果,我會感到很壓抑。我似乎是在自尋煩惱。爲什麼不出去找玩一玩,輕鬆一下?爲什麼自找麻煩去思考?原因是思考給我的回報要遠遠地超過那些暫時的煩惱。獨立思考是開啓生命之門的鑰匙,是通向心理成熟的途徑,是照亮未來之路的燈塔。

學會獨立思考是我生命中的里程碑,是我在大學裏學到的最有價值的東西,現在,它已成爲我生活中不可缺少的一部分。

I thInk, therefore I am here冥想──邁向身心合一的空靈境界

perhaps you have a bIg test comIng up and you are feelIng nervous. these days, It Is pass or perIsh, so you know you have got to do well. the pressure Is on, so you may be losIng sleep and the abIlIty to concentrate. how can you deal wIth the stress, study effectIvely, and take the test wIth confIdence? maybe you should try medItatIon.

when people thInk about medItatIon, many pIcture old men sIttIng cross-legged on remote mountaIntops. people descrIbIng medItatIon frequently mentIon elements such as gurus, relaxatIon, and "thInkIng about nothIng".

It Is not necessary to travel to a mountaIntop to enjoy the benefIts of medItatIon because It Is actually more about awareness than just relaxatIon. the secret to medItatIon Is breathIng.

to start medItatIng, fInd a place where you can sIt or stand comfortably for a lIttle whIle and concentrate. close your eyes and start takIng slow breaths. focus on the aIr movIng In and out of your body. If your mInd starts to wander and you begIn to thInk about somethIng else, refocus your attentIon on your breathIng.

medItatIon has lIttle to do wIth escapIng problems or thInkIng about nothIng. Instead, the breathIng technIques help you calm down and thInk more clearly about your feelIngs. the Issues on your mInd unfold clearly, as If they were In slow motIon.

thIs clarIty Is called "mIndfulness”. beIng mIndful means that you are aware of what you are thInkIng wIthout becomIng caught up In your thoughts. It takes practIce, but wIth tIme, that bIg test wIll not scare you anymore. you wIll realIze through medItatIon that fear Is just a product of not beIng mIndful.

這種清晰就叫領悟。領悟的意思是你知道你心裏所想但不為雜念纏繞。冥想需要練習,不過隨著時間的推移,你就不會再畏懼考試了。學會了冥想,你會瞭解恐懼只是沒有集中精神的結果。

I was a bouquet of lavender among all flowers, sInce I was eager to see the purple color of dreams. all those are mIxed In the cup of lIfe and they are altogether contrIbutIng to shape who I am today. now, I am a glass of water mIxed the pIneapple juIce, whIch Is my memory of green youth. I am a glass of water added strawberry juIce, whIch Is my dream of youth. the taste Is sour and bItter, but appears the smell of dream. I am such an ordInary gIrl havIng romantIc vIsIon, keepIng old thIngs In mInd, carryIng the lIttle dream. I fIrmly belIeve: I am only one, but stIll I am one. I can’t do everythIng, but stIll I can do somethIng towards my dream. that’s me!
